Chickie Burger

Ingredients

For Patty-
250 grams chicken mince
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
Salt to Taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 egg, beaten
2 green chillies, finely chopped
4 burger buns slit in half horizontally
1 bunch of lettuce
pickle
mayonnaise

Preparation

In a bowl, mix together chicken mince, salt, pepper, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste and chilies and marinate for 15 minutes.

Add the beaten egg, mix well and make burger sized patties, about 1/2" thick.

In a skillet shallow fry with patties in oil till done on both sides (about 5 minutes each side) and let drain on a kitchen towel.

Alternatively bake the patties in oven for 25 minutes at 170 degrees

To assemble, warm the burger buns (with butter if you like). Place lettuce in iced water for a minute so it is crisp. drain and place on the bottom half of the bun. Place the patty, onion, tomato, cucumber, pickle and drizzle with mayo and ketchup.

Cover with the top half of the bun, insert a toothpick and serve rightaway !!
