"Alice" is a ceramic tea set by Rachel Boxnboim that was created using a stitched fabric mold made by the designer. Boxnboim fills the completed molds with liquid clay, syringes out the excess and fires the cloth-and-clay molds in a kiln. After the firing process, the cloth has been burned away, but its texture, homespun qualities and one-of-a-kind charm are preserved.
