Apple Crisp Tart

Ingredients
4 Apples, Peeled (Jazz or Fuji brand) and chopped
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3 tablespoons Heaping All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Peel
2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Cold and Chopped)
2 cups All Purpose Flour
3/4 cup Solid Shortening
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon White Vinegar

In a large bowl, mix apples, white and brown sugars, flour, pear juice, Baking Spice Mix, vanilla, lemon peel, and Cinnamon Sugar Mix. Set aside. Crust: Combine flour and salt in a bowl; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until crumbly. Make a well in the middle and add the combined water/vinegar mix. Knead together; wrap and chill crust for 15 minutes. Roll out crust in a large circle on pastry cloth; transfer to non-stick baking sheet (or spray with oil).
