Demeter Made's Creamy Corn Chowder

Ingredients
4 inches slices of bacon, cut into ½ pieces
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
1 small large potato, peeled and cut into cubes
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup of light cream
1 1/2 cups milk
12 ounces package of frozen corn
Preparation

In a large saucepan, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy:

Remove the bacon from the pan, drain on a paper towel and set aside.

Discard all but approximately 1 teaspoon of the grease from the saucepan.

Add chopped onion to the pan
