Salt and Chilli Green Banana Crisps

Ingredients
12 large green bananas peeled

Oil your hands well with lard before peeling the bananas to avoid them sticking to your hands. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin slices, lengthwise. Heat the oil for 5 mins on a high heat, drop in a banana slice to test adequate temperature, (the banana slice should rise to the top rapidly). If ready fry all the bananas until light brown and place them on a paper towel to drain the oil. Once the oil is drained, remove and dust them with the chilli powder and salt. Shake to mix it in well and hey presto, you’re done!
