Ingredients
2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110 to 115 F) OR it depends on the softness of your dough, add more 3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Begin to mix with hand. it is more fun to use your own hands to do it, relaxing too,beats any stress therapy!!

Add remaining flour as needed. Knead for few minutes more until you feel that the consistency is what you are looking for in the dough. Even if the dough is sticky, its ok, it will be great when it rises.

Cover with a damp cloth and put in a warm place for 1 ½ to 2 hours to rise.

Dough should be doubled in bulk. But you can use it once it has risen to your liking.

Flatten the dough in an oiled pan. Use your hands in flattening the dough using a little bit of cooking oil to do so.

Mix the Za3tar (Thyme) and Olive oil together, you might add some fresh diced tomatoes to it to give it a kick. Spread on the dough evenly.

Manaeesh (thyme on flat bread) are a very simple snacks that is made widely in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, which is the Levant region. Manaeesh is basically a flat bread dough topped with thyme mix and olive oil and then baked in a brick oven. It could be breakfast food or snack. It is usually served hot out of the oven with fresh mint leaves, cucumbers, tomatoes and green olives. Simply delicious.
