We planted strawberries the first year we bought this farm. Of course, we planted too many berry plants, and now we are overrun with fresh berries. I like to make a strawberry pie, as a refreshing treat after weeding the darn strawberry bed. It is an old fashioned dessert, that somehow has fallen out of popularity. Once you see how easy it is, I bet this pie will become a regular on your table.
