Angie's Banana Bread Cobbler

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 cup butter, melted
4 medium-size ripe bananas, sliced
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, just until blended; whisk in melted butter and buttermilk. Pour batter into a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Top with banana slices and chopped nuts

Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

About

This is a fun take on the traditional cobbler. I also like to use nuts but you don't have to use them if you don;t like the nuts.
