Sand Plum
About
A sand plum is a fruit about the size of a cherry and is pink when ripe. It grows in the central regions of North America in the vicinity of sand and streams. The fruit can be eaten raw or cooked and is often used in preserves and pies. The seeds may also be eaten raw or cooked.
