Insanely Delicious Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet Cake

April 20, 2015

There are good desserts, there are great desserts, and there are insanely delicious desserts.  This salted caramel Oreo chocolate chip cookie skillet cake from Annie's Nom falls into the third category.  Homemade chocolate chip cookie dough is layered with salted caramel sauce and Oreo cookie crumbs in a cast iron skillet.  The entire cake is baked until it is just set.  Each ooey gooey bite is better than the last.  Once this treat is removed from the oven, have a spoon and a cold glass of milk at the ready .
