3 Ways to Eat Blueberry Pie

June 30, 2014

Fresh blueberry pie makes an appearance only once a year during the summer.  When you start with excellent blueberries, the pie doesn't need much else except perhaps a little cornstarch or tapioca flour to thicken the blueberry's natural juices and a squeeze of lemon to brighten the flavors.  While I love the classic pie with a lattice crust, sometimes life gets in the way and you'll have to find other creative and delicious ways to get your blueberry fix.  This all-American fruit has a short season so take advantage of the small blueberry while you can.
