Strawberry and rhubarb go together like chocolate and peanut butter or apples and cinnamon; their flavors just compliment one another, especially in this pie. Slices of strawberries and rhubarb fill a pie crust before being covered in a homemade custard. Just before baking, the top is dotted with butter to create a golden brown crust.
