I'm not sure which I love more; ice cream or caramel. Now, I can have both. This recipe includes the rich creamy taste of a good ice cream, and the sweet silky taste of homemade caramel. It's a dessert to die for.

1 cup hot water
4 eggs
½ cup powdered sugar
2 cups heavy cream
Pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
