Seasonal foods can be sexy, as is evident in this strawberry cake recipe. How luscious and creamy, with whipped topping frosting and plenty of fresh berries. We couldn't resist sharing.
Right now, strawberries are in season in Florida. If you are lucky enough to be near them, buy up all you can eat and your freezer can hold!
•6 ladyfingers (or 1 small sponge cake)
◦•1¼ cups sliced fresh strawberries
◦•3 tablespoons sugar
◦•1/2 teaspoon vanilla
