In Midtown New York City, restaurant BiCE has a gilded plate of pasta worth just over $2,000. The plate (which is gold-leafed and designed by Gianni Versace) is mountainous with two pounds of lobster, organic veggies and black truffles.
With the two grand plate, comes three other mini-courses, and wine pairings, along with the option of keeping the Versace plate.
