Jessica Simpson turned 32 this week and celebrated with her closest friends and family in a backyard dinner party held at her Los Angeles home.
"Jessica was in heaven because she was celebrating for the first time as a mom!" a source said. "And Maxwell got to make a short appearance in her Fendi white dress."
Guests of the party were treated to gnocchi with brown butter sage and papardelle with yellow tomato sauce. This was followed by short ribs with basil pesto pecorino and pan-seared snappers. For dessert, Simpson served mini s'mores, ginger snap crumble, banana brown bettys, and pudding pies served in mason jars.
