Bite silverware is an artistic message to raise awareness of starvation and obesity. The project, designed by Mark A. Reigelman II, includes a knife, fork and spoon with large bites taken out of them. Reigelman says that his work is inspired by the fact that "each day, millions of individuals lay in hunger while millions more are wastefully overeating."
There seems to be a rise in food waste awareness art; recently, a Polish design team created the baguette table.
