This past week, the Kansas community of Lawrence broke the world record for the world's biggest nacho platter. Weighing in at 4,689 pounds and measuring just about 80 feet long, the platter was created to help raise money and generate food donations for a local charity called LINK Kitchen.
About 1,700 pounds of beef and cheese were used to create the heart attack-inducing platter; about 70 percent of the nachos were consumed. We can't help but think about poor Jumoke Hill, though, who won't get to sample the platter since he ended his unhealthy relationship with nachos.
