Joey Fatone is one of the contestants on the Food Network's latest reality show, Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off. The former boy-bander has always been a fan of cooking and the show helped him expand his culinary skills.
"If you combine good flavors, food turns into an orchestra," he said.
While Fatone may have learned a lot on the show, the lessons seem to have come with their faire share of accidents.
"I cut my finger pretty badly one day, but I couldn't stop working or I'd lose time," Fatone said. "So while the doctor was bandaging one of my hands, I was chopping with the other!"
Once the show was done filming, Fatone retired his personal collection of kitchen knives in favor of a chef's knife.
"I use a chef's knife [now]. Guy would yell at me to grab the 'big-boy knife.' I was intimidated at first because it's really sharp, but now I have no fear."
