Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared some of her hangover recovery tips, and while some of them are common sense -- drink water and ginger ale, take milk thistle, hair of the dog -- others are quite helpful. Should you find yourself with a killer hangover on Jan. 1, eat good carbohydrates and healthy proteins like chicken, quinoa, fish and vegetables to fuel your body's recovery.
There's also Mercy, a health elixir that Paltrow loves so much that she became an investor, and Alka Seltzer or Resolve to eliminate headaches and settle the stomach. Whatever remedy you pick, be sure to drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep!
