Knowing your way around the kitchen, means having basic kitchen skills. It has been said many times, that a safe knife is a sharp one, but if you dont know how to cut safely, it can still be dangerous.
I was so pleased to find the Chef Tomm channel on Youtube today. My knife skills are woefully inadequate, and I am learning quite a bit from him.
