These immaculate pumpkin sculptures by Ray Villafane are absolutely insane. The artist has produced expressive, surreal and downright disturbing carved pumpkins for what seems like everyone; his website cites back-to-back wins on Food Network Challenge and appearances on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and at the White House.
Ray Villafane recently announced a Kickstarter project for 3-D pumpkin carving tutorials. He's looking to raise $10,000 to go toward filming, editing and producing a set of instructional DVDs for prospective pumpkin carvers. As of this post, he's already won over $2,000 in donation pledges with 35 days to go.
