This Prep Scene by Randall Rosenthal is Actually a Wooden Sculpture

Randall Rosenthal is a New York sculptor and a whiz at woodworking. He specializes in immaculate, illusory scenes made entirely of wood, such as the prep scene above. Rosenthal starts his projects with a block of wood, whittling it down carefully until it's just the right shape. He then applies acrylic paint and ink to complete the mind-blowing wooden sculpture.

Some of Randall Rosenthal's other sculptures include a stack of newspapers, a "cardboard" box filled with stacks of money, and an opened atlas with a notebook, business cards and a passport. Here's an image of the kitchen prep scene above during the production process:
