The Bakon Alarm Clock by Instructables user Nelson8815 is a submission to the site's Bacon Contest. This alarm clock wakes bacon fans with an oinking noise and the sweet smell of sizzling bacon. Users just place frozen bacon into the Bakon Alarm Clock and program the time at which they'd like it to begin the cooking process.
The Bakon Alarm Clock is comprised of a toaster oven, a timer and a few decorative items. It was made by a college student, which perhaps explains the gadget's focus on bacon and time-saving properties. Here's a video walkaround of the alarm clock:
