Yes, it's a broad statement that Costco defeats terrorists. It would be a ballsy marketing slogan, but it isn't far from the truth.
According to the New York Times, President Obama, Leon Panetta, and high-level national security officials consumed food from Costco as they strategized on the hunt for Osama bin Laden in the Situation Room on Sunday.
"A staffer went to Costco and came back with a mix of provisions — turkey pita wraps, cold shrimp, potato chips, soda," the article read.
Mission accomplished.
