Does anyone else think that bacon should begin to fall out our collective consciousness? This may actually be the craziest thing ever made from America's favorite meat product (yes, weirder than Baconlube or Bacon Air). You see, the people at This is Freaking Ridiculous held a bacon day celebration and created the BA-Zooka, a fully functional bazooka covered with bacon bits (so I guess not technically powered by or made from bacon).
The creator of this device can explain a bit more about it:
The BA-Zooka is capable of launching model rockets and summer sausages and is powered by an eight pack of AA batteries. After flipping the illuminated rocker switch the BA-Zooka will begin to beep alerting everyone around that it is armed and ready to fire. Pushing the momentary switch, which acts as the trigger, your rocket or sausage is launched. I definitely need to work on my meat ballistics.
Check out this video of the device in use, and you can see a picture of it above. It measures three feet long and was covered with bacon that had passed its expiration date.
