About
The pimento is a large, red, heart-shaped chili pepper often used to stuff green olives.
In Spain the whole pimento is often stuffed with minced seafood, fish or poultry.

Buying: Pimentos are available in a jar in almost any grocery store.

Preparation and Use
Commonly found inside green olives and used in Pimento Cheese. Salads are also excellent for Pimentos.
Cleaning: Rinse the Pimento upon removing it from the jar.
Conserving and Storing
Store Pimentos in a refrigerator after opening for no longer than the date stamped on the jar.
