Ingredients
3 Eggs
cup Sugar
teaspoon Grated lemon rind
teaspoon Baking powder
cup All-purpose flour to 2 ½,divide
teaspoon Anise seeds crushed

Preparation Time: 0:30Beat eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored; gradually add sugar, and continue beating 5 minutes. Add lemon rind, baking powder, and enough flour to make a soft dough, beating well. Chill dough at least 3 hours. Let dough stand at room temperature 15 minutes. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness using a regular rolling pin.
