Southern Fried Curry

East meets West meets North meets South.

I spent the first 32 years of my life living in states that border Canada (Minnesota, then Washington). For the past four years I have been living south of the Mason-Dixon line in the lovely (sometimes) state of Georgia.

I am a Finnish-German Lutheran, married to a South Indian (Tamil Brahmin) Hindu. We have two young daughters who at times can be very picky eaters, but often surprise me with what they're willing to eat.

I think my background gives me an interesting perspective on food (tuna hotdish meets organic kale meets fried peach pie meets curry, rice and lentils). And I like to cook, eat, and write, so here I am.
