Angel food cake is a light and airy dessert that is perfect for pairing with summer fruits. With nothing but egg whites as a stabilizer, angel food cake is almost fat free! The spongy texture allows for the soaking of sweet strawberry syrup or blueberry preserves to make this cake even more delicious. Also, a dollop of freshly whipped cream is never a bad thing.
