Carmelitas
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
Crust
2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling
6 ounces semi sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 cup chopped nuts (I like walnuts)
12 ounces caramel ice cream topping
3 tablespoons flour
Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Grease a 13x9 inch pan

Blend all the crust ingredients together until crumbly

Press about half of crumbs, about 3 cups into the prepared pan

Reserve remianing crumbs for topping

Bake at 350 for 10 minutes

Srpinkle crust with chocolte pieces and nuts

Drizzle caramel over chocolate and nuts

Sprinkle with reserve crumbs
