Caramel Ice Cream Topping

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Combine first 2 ingredients together.

Add to above ingredients, cook and stir until boiling. Reduce heat, simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, until mixture thickens. Makes 1 3/4 cups. Will store in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
