Filmjölk (Swedish)

About

Filmjölk is Scandinavian milk drink made from fermented cow's milk, similar to yoghurt or buttermilk. It is thicker than normal milk, and tastes a bit sour. Originally it was used as a way to make the milk keep longer, these days it is known to have health benefits with tummy-friendly milk bacteria. It is also used in many Scandinavian food and baking recipes.
