It's been a bad year for Chick-fil-A. When they're not filing lawsuits against small-time Vermont artists, the company has donated nearly $2 million to explicitly anti-gay causes. Now, this.
Two people went into a California Chick-fil-A to grab some food. They were not asked their names, but when they received their order "Ching" and "Chong" were provided as the names. Yes, they both happen to be Asian.
One of the customers went back to the restaurant, “I went to talk to the manager, and I told him that this cannot happen ever again. I chose to be calm about it, but I was ready to go off. I made it known that it wasn’t okay, and that I didn’t appreciate it whatsoever."
Didn't anyone in California learn their lesson from that epic library rant earlier this year?

You're confusing franchise issues with corporate issues.
And then you are just as guilty with your condemnation of a whole state for a few individuals stupid actions. It would be like me saying "I expect posts like this to come from an intern, because all editorial interns cannot write."

@jpepper....when Chicfila gave its official stamp of approval on bigotry against gays, it opened the door for its employees to be bigots towards anyone. "A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs. The predominant usage in modern English refers to persons hostile to those of differing sex, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs or spirituality, nationality, language, inter-regional prejudice, gender and sexual orientation, age, homelessness, various medical disorders particularly behavioral disorders and addictive disorders. Forms of bigotry may have a related ideology or world views."
