On July 14th in 1789, the French Revolution began with the storming of Bastille, a Parisian prison. The French and Francophiles around the world will be celebrating this national holiday. You can always have a dinner at a French restaurant. But, to truly enjoy this holiday in the French fashion is to round up your friends and family and have a picnic. Pick up a fresh baguette, a few tFrench cheeses, some strawberries, and of course a bottle of champagne and you have got yourself an outdoor party. Any of the recipes below would be great additions to your Parisian style picnic.
Golden Onion Tart

Gougeres
Add some fresh herbs to add extra flavor.
Green Olive and Almond Tapenade
A delicious dip for bread or veggies.
