Toast Marriage Equality With Égalité Sparkling Wine

To commemorate and celebrate recent victories across the county allowing gay Americans to legally wed, a new sparkling wine, Égalité (French for "Equality"), has been created. The launch of this wine coincided with a $1,000 donation by Égalité to each of these non-profits that provide support for the LGBTQ (Lesbian Bisexual, Gay, Transgender, Questioning) community:

• The Ali Forney Center

• Equality Maine

• Center on Halsted

• GLSEN

The creators of Égalité will also be giving a portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold to LGBTQ organizations. They welcome your input on Facebook and Twitter to help decide which non-profits to fund.

I received a sample of this bottle, a Cremant de Bourgogne from France's Burgundy region, and it was a very tasty, refreshing sparkling wine with a touch of toasty richness.
