Sweet potato latkes with pulled brisket from Host the Toast is a unique Hanukkah meal. Latkes and brisket are traditional foods eaten during Hanukkah but this recipe serves them with a twist. The tender pulled brisket is tossed in a honey whiskey barbecue sauce that tops a crispy sweet potato latke. To grate the sweet potato uniformly for the latkes, I suggest using a box grater as opposed to a food processor because less liquid is released during the process thus creating a crisper latke.
