The United States' second largest fast food chain, Burger King, made an announcement in AP that as of 2017, the company will use cage-free eggs and pork. Other food corporations such as Costco and Wal-Mart have already transitioned their private-label eggs to be cage-free. McDonalds's and Wendy's are also making plans to shift to cage-free products but have no definite timeline. If large food companies, like Burger King, make such a bold change in their supply, do you think we will see a significant difference in farming practices?
