Colorful Egg Cake Pops are an Eggcellent Dessert for Easter

Colorful egg cake pops from Modern Foodie are an eggcellent  dessert to celebrate Easter.  Strawberry cake is crumbled and mixed with cream cheese to form the base of the cake pops.  April, the baker, uses boxed cake mix but feel free to use your favorite strawberry cake recipe.  The cake balls are shaped to resemble eggs before being dipped in white candy melts.  From that point, you can decorate the cake pops as you wish using different colored sanding sugar, jimmies, and other fun candy.   Make these Easter egg cake pops with the kids and enjoy the holiday.

Ingredients and Supplies:

1 Box Strawberry Cake Mix
1 Container Cream Cheese
White Candy Melts
Sanding Sugars
Paper Lollipop Sticks
Styrofoam Block
Fake Grass
White Square Container
