Cooking Mama 4 3DS Coming Soon to Your Kitchen

July 5, 2011

Here’s good news for those who love to cook and play computer games. An exciting game is about to be released in November: the Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic. Not long ago Cooking Mama was released to the public, but the mini-game can only be played through iPhone, iPod touch, and Nintendo DS. When it reached such popularity, game developers decided to create one for Wii, and release a Facebook app version as well. This year, 505 Games has announced the release of Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic for Nintendo 3DS.

What’s new with Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic? The 3DS version of this game can now be played using both touch screen and gyroscopic tilt controls. The gyroscopic control is used to crack eggs, balance plates, flip pans, spread butter, and much more. The game developer has created over 200 touch screen mini-games combined with 60 new and old recipes which you can enjoy playing while waiting for your meal to cook. A "Challenge Mode" has been added, too, so you can play with friends.

The goal of this game is to prepare a delicious dish. You will also mix, fry or chop ingredients by using the touch screen. It’s a simulation of the real cooking so you shouldn’t overcook or burn the food. When this happens, an angry “Mama” will appear on your screen.

What makes this game more thrilling is that you can try those recipes in your own real kitchen world. And while cooking, you can grab your Nintendo 3DS and play Cooking Mama. Just don’t forget to buy a real egg timer so you don’t overcook your vegetables.
