Deviled eggs are standard fare at summer get-togethers and barbecues. Make them right and they can be heavenly. Make them wrong, and they'll fester in the hot sun, untouched and unloved. Start Cooking has released the most comprehensive and easy-to-follow How-To for deviled eggs I've ever seen. I wish I could take credit for the recipe myself, but alas, I'll simply pass it along. I really love the idea of olives in the center of deviled egg (for the flavor and the spooky resemblance to a demon eye). The only thing missing from the recipe is the final dash of paprika over the filled eggs. This red color conjures the flames of hell-fire that earned deviled eggs their name.
