Heat 4-5 table spoons of ghee in a pan and when it is hot enough, add dry grapes and cashew nuts.

Fry it for a couple of minutes(fry till the dry grape bulges) and then add grated carrot.

Add milk just to cover the carrot. Not so much that the carrot becomes completely immersed.

Carrot boils in the milk. Stir it in between and allow it to boil till the milk drains completely.

This is the time to add sugar. Do not add it before, as it prevents carrot from boiling. I added around 1.5 cups of sugar. Add it depending on your taste. As the sugar melts you can notice a thin brownish syrup.
