Lemon Pesto

Ingredients

2 cups Packed Basil Leaves (ΒΌ Lb. Basil)
2 ounces Peeled Garlic Cloves Chopped (About 12)
teaspoon Olive Oil
teaspoon Pine Nuts
teaspoon Grated Lemon Zest
tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

Preparation

In a food processor or blender, combine the basil, garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, lemon zest and lemon juice. Process for about 5 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl 2 or 3 times, until the pesto is creamy.
