Bread Rasmalai The Yummy Creamy Sweet Cheese Dumplings.

Ingredients

500 milliliters Milk:
1 Milk Bread: 8 slices
1/2 cup Sugar:
1/4 cup Almonds:
1/4 cup Pistachio nuts:
1 tablespoon Clarified butter or Ghee:
1 tablespoon Fresh cream (whipped):
1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder:
Saffron: a few threads

Preparation

Slightly roast the almonds and pistachio nuts and ground them coarsely in mortar and pestle. Reserve them.

Cut the bread slices into round shape with the help of a round object of sharp edge.

Apply a little ghee / butter on both sides and toast it on a griddle or tava very lightly.

Boil the milk till it reduced to its half. Add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Mix it well till the sugar dissolves completely.

Remove from the heat and add the threads of saffron to it. Let it stand for few minutes till it cools down.

Add the coarsely ground mix of almonds and pistachio nuts. Reserve some of the nuts for garnishing. Mix it well and keep it aside.

Apply the whipped cream on the bread slices and pour the thickened milk over it.

Garnish the bread rasmalai with the almonds and pistachio.

Serve the bread rasmalai only when it is cold
