SWEET ENERGY BALLS

Ingredients

100 gr dates
50 gr walnuts
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2-3 drops rum essence
cocoa,cinnamon and coconut shreds for garnishing

Preparation

Soak the dates in hot water for 20 min.

After that,peel them and remove the pits.

Mash them with hands or fork.

Put the walnuts into the blender and blend until they are ground or put them in plastic bag and crush.

Combine the mashed dates,ground walnuts,cinnamon and rum essence and mix until the mixture is homogenized.

For a balls from this mixture.

For garnishing,combine some cocoa and cinnamon into small bowl and dip half of the balls into it.

Dip the other half of the balls into the coconut shreds.

Put them in the fridge for a while.

This recipe yield about 15 balls.
