Honey Nut Roll

Ingredients

30 grams butter
1/2 cup honey
1 cup flour, plain
1/10 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup mixed fruit

Preparation

Chop walnuts.

Grease a nut roll tin and set oven temperature at moderate (330F).

Beat butter and honey until light. Add egg and beat in well. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Fold into creamed mixture alternately with milk, walnuts and dried fruit.

Spoon into prepared tin and bake in moderate oven 50-60 minutes or until a fine skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve warm or cold, sliced and spread with butter.
