French Toast Waffles

Ingredients

4 slices bread
2 tablespoons Butter, melted
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup Milk
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except the bread. If desired, trim crust from bread. Dip slices into the mixture, coating well on both sides, but not drenching. Cook the French toast in a well-oiled, hot waffle iron until crisp.
