Walnut Pie

Ingredients

3 eggs yolks
5 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Prepare and blind (pre-bake) bake one 9 inch pie shell

Beat the egg yolks until smooth. Stir in the milk and mix well..

Combine the flour and sugar with whisk.

Combine melted butter with the vanilla.

Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir to mix thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a double boiler set at low boil and stir constantly until well thickened. Stir in the walnuts and pour into a blind baked pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for about ten minutes.

Remove from oven, cool, cut and serve.
