3 tablespoons Brandy or orange juice
125 grams Hazelnuts, chopped (4oz)
250 grams Glace cherries, halved (8oz)
75 grams Cut mixed peel, (3oz)
40 grams Angelica, chopped (1 ½ oz)
50 grams Glace ginger, finely chopped (2oz)
250 grams Unsalted butter, softened (8oz)
250 grams Caster sugar, (8oz)
4 mediums Size eggs
50 grams Ground almonds, (2oz)
250 grams Plain flour, sifted (8oz)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Redcurrant jelly, melted
50 grams Blanched almonds, (2oz)
