Venison Swiss Steak With Rice

Ingredients
2 pounds
venison
backstrap
1 can
petite
diced tomatoes
1
large
onion
garlic powder
salt/pepper
Preparation

Heat
some oil in the bottom of a dutch oven to
brown
meat

Tenderize
the pieces of meat and add to the hot oil to
brown

Once
brown,
add whole
can
of tomatoes and
sliced
onion

When sauce is thick, add garlic powder,
salt
and pepper to
taste.
I use alot of garlic.

Let
simmer
for about 30 minutes to 3 hours, covered, depending on how long you have. This recipe works great int he crock pot too.

Serve
over rice or noodles.
